National Railway Museum – York

Today I stood in front of  rockets, steams and high speed bullet trains. All of them impressive!

In the Station Hall I felt like hopping in the Hogwarts Express at platform 9 3/4…

We spend a couple of hours in the museum but we could have stayed longer.

We met a local lady who was also visiting the museum with their family from Nantes. She was impressed how well Guiu (3y 8m) talked in English although non of us being native speakers.

Kenneth Grange designed the first train without bumpers in 1976 still in extensive use.
